Overview

The kite cut is among the most unique designs in modern jewellery. With a clear silhouette that is bold and deliberate from across the room, it features four sides that taper to a sharp point both at the top and bottom, and is wider at the centre. There is nothing demure about this halo engagement ring with an amethyst kite gemstone, and that is precisely the purpose.

The center is a 7.35 CT kite semi precious amethyst gemstone, 12.00×9.00 MM, the largest stone in the catalog, with a face that commands full attention. Amethyst's deep violet purple fills every millimeter of that surface, rich and uninterrupted. A full halo of round moissanite, full white VVS, 0.30 CTW, 1.30 MM, traces the perimeter of the kite. Tiny brilliant stones outline the shape and amplify the contrast between cool white sparkle and deep purple. This is what a kite gemstone halo accent ring does that a standard accent setting cannot: the halo follows the geometry of the stone, making the shape itself the focal point.
